Daily Brief
Daily Brief Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026
These terms apply to Daily Brief, operated by Chris Hornung, MD. By using the application, you agree to these terms.
Purpose and permitted use
Daily Brief is a personal tool that reads authorized Google Calendar events and prepares a daily overview. Use it only with accounts and calendars you are authorized to access. This informational website does not provide public account registration.
Authorization and privacy
You control whether to grant or revoke Google Calendar access. Access is read-only; Daily Brief does not create, edit, or delete events. Data handling, local storage, delivery, and deletion are described in the privacy policy.
Availability and accuracy
Daily Brief is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or complete, current summaries. Authorization failures, service outages, configuration changes, or delivery problems can result in missing or outdated information. Check your source calendar for appointments and other time-sensitive commitments.
Account and device responsibility
Keep your Google account, computer, and saved authorization credentials secure. Ensure that the configured delivery recipient is appropriate for the information included in the brief.
Stopping use and changes
You may stop using Daily Brief and revoke its Google access at any time. The operator may modify or discontinue the tool. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date.
