Daily Brief
Daily Brief
Daily Brief brings today’s Google Calendar events into a personal morning brief, alongside locally configured tasks and other daily information.
Read-only Google Calendar access
Daily Brief uses Google authorization to read event titles, start dates and times, and all-day status from calendars available to the connected account. It does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
It is a personal tool operated by Chris Hornung, MD. This website describes the app; it does not connect your Google account or display your calendar.
How it works
The locally installed app connects to Google Calendar after account authorization, prepares a daily overview, and delivers it through the configured personal messaging or email channel. Calendar records remain with Google; the app also stores authorization credentials and generated brief data locally.
